Telegram is one of the most permissive mainstream messaging platforms for sex workers. Its TOS only explicitly prohibits "illegal pornographic content" on public channels, and enforcement is primarily complaint-driven via their @abuse bot. Private chats and groups are end-to-end encrypted (in Secret Chat mode) and not moderated. Many escort providers use Telegram as their primary client communication channel, and the platform has a well-established adult community. The main risks are not from Telegram itself but from bad actors within the platform. Telegram's relative anonymity cuts both ways — good for privacy, but requires your own screening processes.
